BBP Closing in 2020

Books & Boos Press is sad to announce that we are closing our doors. While we hate to disappoint our authors and readers, the co-owners are in the process of divorcing, and all mutual assets are being liquidated, so to speak. Please understand also that we’re still on good terms and are divorcing amicably, and are still friends.

You can still follow BB’s adventure on our Instagram account here.

Our website will remain, but certain pages like “Our Titles” will disappear on Jan. 1, 2020.

Thank you!

Our Latest Undertaking: The Terror Project

The project is a series of novella collections. Each installment will contain three novellas, with three books currently in the works.
The first installment, Triplicity: The Terror Project, Vol. 1, will debut in December 2016. Triplicity is comprised of “Steel” by Tony Tremblay (The Seeds of Nightmares), “The Christmas Spirit” by Rob Smales (Echoes of Darkness), and “Brando and Bad Choices” by Stacey Longo (Ordinary Boy). “We couldn’t be happier with the starting lineup,” said Marketing Director Jason Harris. “We’re coming out strong with this trio of impressive writers.”

The second installment is scheduled for release in fall 2017, and the third has a tentative release date of early 2018.

This was my 4th year being involved with this event. This involvement has always been with bringing authors and books to the Open Air Market. The market has always been successful and always has a lot of people coming out to it. This year was the busiest I have ever seen it. The attendance for this year’s event blows the other year’s attendance out of the water.

‘Secret Things’ is Now Available

SecretThings

Secret Things by Stacey Longo has been released by Books and Boos Press. This collection contains 12 tales that will entertain and leave the reader wanting more. The paperback and e-book versions can be ordered through Amazon.

The cover was created by artist Stephanie Johnson, the cover is reminiscent of Saul Bass’s work, but with a style and flair all its own.

“I’d seen some of the covers Stephanie did for Kate Laity—most notably Noir Carnivaland Weird Noir—and knew she’d be the perfect choice to design the cover for this collection,” Books & Boos Press co-owner Jason Harris said. “She was wonderful to work with, and we’re so happy with the result!”
