Meet Glastonbury Police Officer and Author at Numerous Events this Weekend

Author Ken Keeney will be at three different bookstores this weekend reading and signing his newly released children’s book, Megan and Riley Share the Joy of Christmas.

He visits the River Bend Bookshop in Glastonbury, CT. from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15. The River Bend Bookshop is located at 2217 Main Street in Glastonbury.

On Saturday, he also visits the Bookclub bookstore in South Windsor, CT. from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Bookclub is located at 869 Sullivan Ave. in South Windsor.

On Sunday, he will be at the Glastonbury Barnes and Noble located at 175 Glastonbury Blvd., in Glastonbury, CT. from 12 to 2 p.m.

Author Stacey Longo will be participating in a local author fair in Glastonbury, Connecticut, this coming Saturday (March 24).

The Welles-Turner Memorial Library’s Local Author Fair will be taking place in the Community Center’s Community Room from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Her newest title, My Sister the Zombie, which was published by Storyside Press and takes place in Glastonbury, will be available for sale.

The Riverfront Community Center is located at 300 Welles Street in Glastonbury. The RCC has plenty of off-street parking with spaces on either side of the building.

Listen to and meet Dan Foley, Stacey Longo and John Valeri at the Mary Cheney Library on Oct. 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. for Indie Author Day. They will be discussing the writing process, getting published, and marketing one’s work. The library is located at 586 Main Street in Manchester, CT.

Meet authors Longo and Rob Watts at Super Megafest in Marlborough, MA. on Oct. 21 and 22. They will also be hosting a panel, So You Want to be a Writer, at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22. Rob Smales will be joining them for the panel.

Meet authors Foley, Smales and Tony Tremblay at the Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival at the Haverhill Public Library in Haverhill, MA. ​from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Special guests include authors Brian Keene, Mary Sangiovani, and Joe Hill.

Meet Smales at Super Megafest on Sunday, Oct. 22. He will be talking about writing and other topics with Longo and Watts on the So You Want to be a Writer panel at 11 a.m.

‘Three on a Match’ Book Release Party

This past Saturday, a book release party for Three on a Match was held.

Three on a Match is the second installment of the Terror Project, and features novellas from talented authors Melissa Crandall, g. Elmer Munson, and Kristi Petersen Schoonover.

The release party was put on by Schoonover, who did an awesome job from the food to the decorations. She even got a cake showcasing the book cover.

Crandall and Munson joined Schoonover for over four hours to celebrate the release of Three on a Match, the newest book from Books & Boos Press.

Three on a Match will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.

A Chance to Meet Author Rob Smales

The New England Author Expo takes place this Wednesday, July 26, at the Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers, MA. from 4 to 9 p.m.

Author Rob Smales will be signing copies of his book, Echoes of Darkness at the Books & Boos Press table. There will also be copies of Insanity Tales II: The Sense of Fear, which contains two of Smales’ stories.

There will also be books by some of our other authors at the table as well.

The yacht club is located at 161 Elliot Street in Danvers, MA.

Authors’ Night by the Sea Event This Friday

This Friday at the Red Hook Brewery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, an Authors’ Night by the Sea event takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This free event will allow the public to meet authors and publishers.

At the Books & Boos Press table, you will be able to meet author Rob Smales. We will have his book, Echoes of Darkness, available for purchase. We will also have Insanity Tales II, which is a collection containing two of his stories, and Triplicity, which contains one of his stories.

Other books such as Secret Things, Tricks and Treats, and Where Spiders Fear to Spin will be available.
